Dog Behavior Consultations
We begin every behavioral program with our Comprehensive Behavior Assessment & Consultation
This consultation is extensive and will about two hours. It is not only an opportunity for me to make assessments & gather information to develop a strategic plan for the individual situation — it is detailed information for you. This dog behavior consultation & assessment will be the foundation on which we build a strategy & game plan for resolution.
The plan is based on several factors:
The dog’s history, if known. But at the end of the day, we train the dog that stands before us today.
Your dog’s current state of mind.
Your leadership skill, consistency, effectiveness, and expectations.
Your communication skills & the relation you have with your dog vs the relationship you need to have.
Your Goals
This consultation will include a deep dive into nutrition and wellness and its effects on behavior. It will also be a review and coaching of the dynamics of the family & leadership for the dog. For some, this will a tough-love conversation.
Many of you can take this consultation & act on it making big changes in your dog’s behavior. Others will need ongoing help in one of our customized behavior programs.
At the completion of the assessment, you will receive a detailed summary of my assessment & proposed plan for working together.
