Our obedience dog training is basic training intended for dogs older than 20 weeks who could use a bit of polishing and reinforcement on their manners and listening skills.
But who are we kidding — the training is mostly for you! We’ll teach you to be a calm, confident leader!
In-Home Dog Training North Myrtle Beach

Learning to listen to commands, even when no treat is involved
Staying in the command until told not to
Listening when there are distractions and in exciting environments
Coming when called the first time
Pulling during walks

Most dogs who are a fit for this training are the happy-go-lucky types who just need some rules and boundaries or rescue dogs who haven’t previously lived in a home with rules and boundaries. We cover basic training, standard commands, managing distractions, walking nicely on a leash, and other good dog “manners”.
It’s important for you and your family to know that training is a process and you’ll have to be patient with your dog while she learns all the things! The good news is that training isn’t hard and doesn’t take long. Just a few weeks of consistency and clarity working with your dog 20-30 minutes per day is all it takes to have a better dog!
It's easy when you know the techniques and have consistency, structure, leadership, and the right coach. Don’t worry! I will be there to help guide you every step of the way!
Completing our Private Dog Training Program will help you accomplish three main goals:
1. Build a confident relationship with your dog
2. Effectively communicate with your dog
3. Establish a structure with your dog for building lasting trust and leadership
Basic Dog Obedience Training includes: Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Come When Called, Place, Walk Well on Leash, Leave-It, Out, & Watch Me. We’ll teach good greeting skills, waiting at doors and for food and social manners too.

Dog Obedience Training Add-Ons
We do offer a few add-ons for our obedience training program so you can tailor it to your specific goals for your dog.
We strongly encourage all clients doing any training program to take advantage of our health and wellness coaching, included with this program. Our health and wellness coaching is designed to start every dog parent off with a good understanding of healthy nutrition, natural lifestyle, natural ways to prevent fleas and ticks, safe shampoos and education about necessary vaccines and vaccine detox. We also help dog parents work through the overwhelm of information, marketing and products out there—many of which are not healthy, not cost effective and not truly safe for your dog.
Proper training, nutrition and wellness support are the keys to a happy, healthy, thriving dog for years to come.
Off Leash Training North Myrtle Beach
We offer Off Leash Training. Off leash training is more advanced level training requiring reliable recall and a dog that can listen to and adhere to boundaries in any situation with any level of distraction or excitement. The benefit is that off-leash training can begin to give you and your dog more freedom in your interactions and time spent outdoors.
E-Collar Training North Myrtle Beach
We offer optional e-collar training as an add-on to the obedience training program. For e-collar training, we use a state-of-the-art communication-style e-collar. Our modern e-collar techniques use the gentlest remote communication and are a very effective and humane approach to dog training. In fact, it's so gentle that we'll have you test it out before it ever goes on your dog.
